Every October, London's art world moves into The Regent's Park, and Frieze London 2026 is the reason. For five days, galleries, artists, collectors and curious visitors gather to see what contemporary art looks like right now.

If you plan to join them, this guide covers the dates, tickets, location and highlights. It also covers the part many visitors forget until the last minute: getting there from the airport without the stress.

What Is Frieze London?

Let's start with the question many first-time visitors ask: what is Frieze London? It is a leading contemporary art fair held each October in The Regent's Park, in north-west London.

Galleries from around the world bring work by living artists, and the fair is open to the public as well as to collectors and curators.

It also has a sister fair, Frieze Masters, which sits nearby in the same park.

According to Frieze, Frieze London mainly shows work made after 2000, while Frieze Masters shows work made before 2000.

Between them, the two fairs welcome over 85,000 visitors every year, from first-time art lovers to seasoned collectors.

Frieze London 2026 Dates and Opening Hours

The Frieze London 2026 dates are 14 to 18 October 2026. The first day, Wednesday 14 October, is invitation only, so most visitors will arrive from Thursday onwards. Here are the opening hours for Frieze London:

  • Wednesday 14 October: 11am to 7pm (invitation only)
  • Thursday 15 October: 11am to 1pm for Members and invitation-only guests, then 1pm to 5pm for general admission tickets
  • Friday 16 October: 11am to 7pm
  • Saturday 17 October: 11am to 7pm
  • Sunday 18 October: 11am to 6pm

Entry is tied to the date and time on your ticket, and the last entry is 30 minutes before closing. General admission tickets also have no re-entry. Once you step out for lunch, your visit is over, so it helps to plan your day before you arrive.

Where Is the Frieze Art Fair in London?

Both fairs take place in The Regent's Park, but they sit in different corners. Frieze London is in the south of the park, with its entrance off Park Square West (postcode NW1 4LL).

Frieze Masters is on Gloucester Green, at the north-east corner near London Zoo (postcode NW1 4HA). Moving between them takes about 15 minutes on foot.

If you would rather save your feet for the art, a free shuttle bus runs roughly every 15 minutes.

Frieze London Tickets: Prices for 2026

Now for the question most people are really asking. Frieze tickets are sold online only, so there is no buying one at the gate.

What to See at Frieze London 2026?

What to See at Frieze London 2026?

With so much on offer, it helps to know where to look first. According to Frieze, Frieze London 2026 brings together 171 galleries from 42 countries and regions.

Familiar names such as Gagosian, Hauser & Wirth, Pace Gallery, White Cube and David Zwirner are returning.

The most talked-about newcomer is The Code Universe, a new section curated by Carol Yinghua Lu of the Inside-Out Art Museum in Beijing.

It explores how artists respond to mass culture and social change, so expect everyday objects and media imagery to take centre stage.

Another highlight is Artist-to-Artist, where seven well-known artists each nominate a peer for a solo presentation. Nominators include Yinka Shonibare, Louise Giovanelli and Firelei Báez, and the section is supported by Tiffany & Co.

If you enjoy spotting tomorrow's names early, Focus is also worth your time. It showcases galleries founded within the last twelve years and is supported by Stone Island.

Thinking of buying something but nervous about the price tag? The Editions section offers prints and multiples from leading publishers, which makes collecting a little easier for beginners.

Along the way, you will notice two solo stands at the entrance by Márcia Falcão and Agata Ingarden, which set the tone for the whole fair.

Free Frieze Sculpture

You don't need a ticket for every part of Frieze. Frieze Sculpture is a free outdoor exhibition in the English Gardens of The Regent's Park, open from 16 September to 1 November 2026.

Now in its 14th edition, it is curated by Fatoş Üstek and features 11 international artists, including Angel Otero, Conrad Shawcross, Tarini Sethi and Ivana Bašić. It makes a lovely warm-up or a relaxed way to end your day.

Frieze Week Across London

The excitement also spreads well beyond the park. During Frieze Week, you can see 'Ana Mendieta' at Tate Modern, 'Robert Ryman: The Real Thing' at Barbican Art Gallery, 'The Bayeux Tapestry' at the British Museum and 'Anish Kapoor' at The Hayward Gallery. Adding one of these to your trip is an easy way to see more of the city.

How to Get to Frieze London 2026 from the Airport?

Once your tickets are sorted, the next question is how to get there. Frieze recommends public transport, and Frieze London is under five minutes' walk from Regent's Park tube station.

That works well if you are travelling light. But after a long flight, dragging a suitcase through train stations and tube changes is not everyone's idea of a good start.

Driving is not much easier either, because parking in the park is very limited and coaches are not allowed in.

A pre-booked airport taxi solves both problems, and this is where Airport Taxi Transfer (ATT) comes in.

Why Book Your Frieze London Airport Transfer with ATT?

Airport Taxis Transfer arranges pre-booked airport taxi transfers across the UK, so your ride is organized before you even board your flight. The best part is how little you have to think about once you land.

  • Your driver meets you inside the terminal with a name sign and helps with your luggage, so you don't have to hunt for a pickup point.
  • ATT also tracks your flight in real time and builds in a complimentary 45-minute buffer after landing.
  • If your plane arrives early, late or somewhere in between, your driver is already prepared, and you have time to clear immigration and collect your bags.
  • Pricing is just as straightforward. Your fare is agreed when you book, with no meters, surge charges or hidden fees, which is a welcome relief during a busy event week.
  • Your driver is licensed, background-checked and trained, and the vehicles are well maintained.
  • Each UK booking is also reviewed by a person, to make sure your route, timing and vehicle type all match.
  • If your plans change, you can cancel at least 24 hours before pickup for a full refund, and support is available 24/7 if you need a hand.

How to Book in Three Simple Steps?

  1. Select your ride: Enter your pickup point, destination and preferred vehicle type.
  2. Confirm and pay: Complete your booking online with advance payment, then check your email for confirmation.
  3. Relax and travel: Meet your professional driver and head straight to your hotel or the park.

Book your airport taxi transfer for Frieze London 2026

Your ATT journey doesn't have to end at the airport, either. You can book hourly chauffeur hire to move between Frieze London, Frieze Masters and your favourite gallery shows. If you are travelling with colleagues or clients, ATT also offers business transfers.

Smart Travel Tips for Frieze Visitors

A little planning goes a long way.

  • First, drop your luggage at your hotel before heading to the park, because suitcases and items larger than 40 x 20 x 40 cm are not allowed in the fair, and cloakroom space is limited.
  • Second, share the correct postcode with your driver: NW1 4LL for Frieze London or NW1 4HA for Frieze Masters.
  • Finally, remember the no re-entry rule, so eat and rest before or after your visit. Since early bird tickets have sold out and combined tickets are limited, booking sooner rather than later is the safest plan.

Plan Your Trip to Frieze London 2026

Frieze London 2026 is a busy, exciting week, and a little preparation makes it far more enjoyable.

Book your tickets online, choose the day that suits you and arrange your airport transfer in advance.

With a fixed fare, a driver waiting at the terminal and flight tracking in place, your trip can start smoothly from the moment you land.
